Yesterday we had a wonderful trip to the Mexican Gulf. Leslie was driving and Narda sat in front as a co-pilot when we were heading for Galveston, Seabrook and NASA Space Center - about an hour southeast of Houston.
On Galveston Island there are many beautiful old houses from the last millenium, and other houses were hit by the hurricane Ike on September 13th 2008.
All the houses were buildt on stocks in case of high tide.
On Stewards Beach, Galveston, we walked into the ocean - nice!

On the restaurant between the tallship and the cruiseship we had our lunch.

Seabrook: Pelicans and sailboats.

NASA Space Center - Houston:

We ended this fantastic day at a Mexican restaurant and many of the guest were celebrating Halloween. The most creative costume was on this guy who took a bubblebath. "Pop me - pop me", he said.
